In my first post I want to write about what I have been reading recently - not counting articles about music...
As well put by several writers, Jesus' self-understanding was very radical, leading him ultimately to death on the cross. There is no way somebody could deny that Jesus made claims implying his divinity. The major problem those who want to do so encounter is the belief of the early Christians in those claims - how is is that the worship of Jesus as Lord and God came about at all in the early church?
The three main claims made by Jesus about his divinity were:
1. Jesus' claim to be the Messiah
2. Jesus' claim to be the Son of God
3. Jesus' claim to be the Son of Man
I will try not to write long blogs... So, I will stop here on the claims of Jesus. Maybe I will continue on following blogs. As always, I am looking for any comments and reactions.
